My husband and I had a great stay at Jon and Misty’s home! The hot tub, private dock and kayaks make this listing a fantastic find. There were some areas of the home in need of some TLC like the paneling in the living room. The one shower in the house could use updating as well. Jon and Misty were extremely responsive and helpful prior to and during our stay. Overall, we had a great time and would come back!

Very much enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and spacious with a lot to do. A little farther than expected from most things but we live in a town where everything is no more than 10 min away. That being said, it was very peaceful. We would definitely love to come back. Best of both country and beach life. Emerald Isle beach was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend going to that beach during your stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Sunset House. We fished off the dock and took the kayaks to the island to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Jonathan was a wonderful host! The property and the amenities were exactly as described. We will be back !

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Jonathan & Misty’s! Jonathan was very responsive and helpful. We loved the home, and the location right on the water. We had a blast taking out the Jon boat, and the kids enjoyed fishing and the hot tub. We watched beautiful sunrises, and enjoyed many impromptu beach trips because of how close it is to Emerald Isle! It’s a busy road so I would recommend backing in the driveway as much as possible, but we were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful it is in the back. One of our favorite vacations so far. Will definitely be back!

I am so very impressed with the home, the space, the pool. The overall home away from home feeling you have while there. The pictures don't do the place justice as it is way more beautiful in person. It was a great way to celebrate my 48th birthday with my children and grandchildren.

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-maintained. My niece especially loved the pool, hot tub, and the amazing kids’ room — it kept her entertained the entire time. The hosts were awesome and very accommodating; they even allowed us to check in early when we arrived in the area ahead of schedule. The home is also in a perfect location, close to many attractions and just a short drive to the beach. Highly recommend!

I chose this location for a small bachelor's weekend. I chose it for the access to water, the fish cleaning station and grill. We brought a couple of our own kayaks but used the one provided as well. We enjoyed the property and used every emmenity. the proximity to a main road was surprising as it's not shown in the pictures, but this was not a major issue. The grill could use with a thorough cleaning/replacing as the igniter did not function(we brought a lighter so we could still use it) Overall the property was great

We had a great summer vacation here! The house was perfect for our group—5 adults, 4 teenage boys, and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed: a nearby beach, great fishing, hot tub, pool, and basketball hoop. A perfect mix of countryside relaxation and beachside fun.

The pictures did not do justice to how fantastic the view is. Great fishing spot as well. The only hiccup we had was running out of rod holders because everyone was wanting to fish that area. Fantastic location. Host was very responsive throughout and answered any questions I had.

Experience a luxury RV, just three miles from Emerald Isle Beach, or you can kayak at the local kayak launch only 1/2 mile away. Historic Downtown Swansboro is only 5 miles away.  Relax in the evening around the firepit. For entertainment there is a Smart TV in the Living Room and Bedroom.  The home is only 25 minutes away from camp Lejeune main entrance, Cherry Point, and Jacksonville, NC.

Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the hosts communicated clearly and shared helpful recommendations for things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, but still an easy drive to Emerald Isle, Beaufort, and Morehead City, making it a perfect base for exploring the coast. The bed was very comfortable and the RV had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also traveled with our dogs and they loved the space as well. As race fans, we thought it was pretty neat that there’s a small hometown racetrack right down the street. Overall, this was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! Jonathan RV home was amazing close to the race track,  he is amazing host every time I called him for anything since it was my first time staying in in the RV, He responded quickly very flexible and was willing to accommodate me in anyway since I had to stay a little bit longer highly recommend to stay here and the cleaning lady Jessica was awesome. It felt like home didn’t even wanna come home. The neighbors are very friendly.

Jonathan was nice. Trailer has a very distinct bad smell in it and dishes were not very clean at all. Neighbors were loud at night. But overall nice place to stay short term for a weekend getaway to the beach and cheap.
